Hunting Hogs in Florida!
Hunting Hogs in June is a little warm, but we had the place to
ourselves.
The whole family was alone and we was on an exotic game Ranch
with tons of deer, but we was not seeing hogs. Our guide told us
the hogs would start moving around 7:30 pm. And boy was he
right. Almost to the minute the hogs started coming out of the
brush and woods to a water hole is the middle of a field. All of a
sudden my guide was tapping me and pointing to my left. There he
was a giant trophy boar at about 300 yards. It was a little to far for
me so once the beast picked a direction we were out to intercept.
After 15 minutes or so we got in front of him and he was walking
by at about 50 yards. Up goes the shooting sticks and before I
could even think boom I shot him. He ran off like I missed him, but
my guide yell hit. We tracked for about 20 minutes and when I was
just thinking we was not going to find him my great guide again
yells out there he be. Holly a true trophy boar beast! We were four
hunters and we killed three very nice meat hogs and my giant
trophy boar. Wow, What a day of hunting!
